It was clear that Mike Dentale busted after the sound of a fist hitting the table was heard throughout the room. Dentale was all-in on the river with K K, and was disgusted to see that Vimy had J J and had rivered a set.
Ha continues his good run with that hand, and pads his lead with close to 4,000,000. It was a great run from Dentale who had a chance to make his third main trophy event final table.

Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Final Break
Players are taking their final break of the night, and will return to lay Level 22 before bagging for Day 3. We will post updated chip counts after the break:
Blinds coming back: 10,000/20,000/3,000
Players Remaining: 29
Chip Average: 908,000
Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Hubbard Holding the Torch
Level 21 - Blinds 8,000/16,000/2,000 (Players Left: 30)
With the elimination of Patti Haggerty, it leaves only Stephanie Hubbard as the lone female in the field. Hubbard has well below chip average, but was in dire shape earlier before doubling up to what she has now (350,000).
Vimy Ha is the chip leader currently with just over 3,000,000.

Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): So Busts
Level 21 - Blinds 8,000/16,000/2,000 (Players Remaining: 31)
Jennifer So (Galloway, NJ) was one of three ladies remaining in the event, but was the shortest stack in the room. She pushed all-in for under 100,000 after Paul Spitzberg opened the pot, and he called her saying he was giving her a "courtesy double up." Not so much though when he flopped two pair with K Q on a A K Q board against So's 8 8.
So would be eliminated in 32nd place, taking home $3,607 for her finish. That leaves only Patti Haggerty and Stephanie Hubbard as the lone females remaining.

Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Glantz Chips Up
Level 21 - Blinds 8,000/16,000/2,000 (Players Remaining: 34)
Matt Glantz was raised by Jared Jaffee on a 7♣ 8♠ 9♠ 10♦ board to 127,000 (Glantz had bet 60,000). After the 5♦ hit the turn Glantz would once again check, and it was to Jaffee to decide if he was going to fire once more into this pot worth over 400,000. Jared would end up checking back and Glantz would show A J for the straight, with Jaffee mucking afterwards.
Glantz is now up to 1,600,000, with Jared dipping below 600,000.
Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Break Time
Players will be going on a (10) minute break at the end of this level (in five minutes). When they return to Level 21 the blinds will be going up to 8,000/16,000/2,000 (750,000 chip average).
Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Millionaires Club
Level 20 - Blinds 6,000/12,000/2,000 (Players Remaining: 36)
The field has slowly dwindled down after the rush of players to min cash. Players have returned from break, and everyone remaining will be leaving with their share of the prize pool. We will bring you the cashes through every pay jump.
Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Bubble Has Burst!!!
Level 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000 (Players Remaining: 56)
The bubble has finally burst, as Mike Dentale send a short stack home after flopping a king with K Q against pocket jacks.
Players are now on a (75) minute dinner break.
Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Still On The Bubble
Level 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000 (Players Remaining: 56)
We are still on the bubble, and have been for almost an hour now. We just had a huge pot where James Sansone (Fayetville, NY) chipped up to over 1,400,000. Sansone flopped a set of queens and all the chips got in against the nut flush draw. Sansone's opponent would make the flush on the turn, but James would river the full house, and scoop the monster pot.
Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Dentale Tanks....And Tanks....And Tanks...
Level 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000 (Players Remaining: 56)
While hand for hand the clock is run off 2:00 for every hand, to keep from any players stalling to make the money. That means that everyone has to wait until the hand is over to resume the next hand.
Mike Sandler was all-in for his remaining 175,000 on a board of A J 7 6, and it was Mike Dentale's action. Dentale tanked for about 8-10 minutes before finally deciding to fold. We are on the next hand (Dentale had showed A K before folding).
Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Hand For Hand
Level 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000 (Players Remaining: 55)
Players are now hand for hand. We will keep you updated on the bubble bursting.

Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Brewer Busts

Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Bubble Time
Level 19 - Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000 (Players Remaining: 57)
We are basically on the money bubble, with 57 players remaining (and 54 getting paid). When we reach 55 players the field will be playing hand for hand, and we will play that way until the bubble has burst.

Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Twitter Updates
During the break we caught up with some players who posted updates via Twitter:

Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Break Time
Player are going on a (10) minute break and will return to play Level 19, with the blinds going up to 5,000/10,000/1,000. There are still 61 players remaining, and those still left after this level will then go on a (75) minute dinner break.
Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Money Bubble Looming
Level 18 - Blinds 4,000/8,000/1,000 (Players Remaining: 61)
We are only six eliminations from the money, and the shorties are doing whatever they can to hold on. Two of those players short stacked are Jared Jaffee and Pierre Deissler, who are sitting with stacks around the ten big blind mark. Another player to hit the 1,000,000 chip mark is Wes Wyvill (Alexandria, VA), who sits tot he right of Mike Dentale. Dentale is the only player in the field that remains who can go three for three in Big Stax main trophy event final tables. Dentale has a win in the Big Stax III for over $100,000 and a 4th place finish in Big Stax I for $54,000.
Dave Inselberg is one of the unfortunate players to just miss the money:

Spitzberg has over $600,000 in career earnings, including a 2013 WSOP final table cash worth over $133,000. Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Steady Trend Up
Level 17 - Blinds 3,000/6,000/1,000 (Players Remaining: 80)
Aristides Santana has taken Day 2 by storm, and in just over a level and a half has turned his 300,000 stack to start the day into over 1,200,000. We watched as he won the big pot earlier from Jason Heaney, and he's basically just ran with it from there.
Big Stax 300 winners (from the chop) Alfredo Sosa and Steven Sarmiento are both still alive. Sarmiento was down to his 50,000 all-in, and has taken down a few pots since to build to over 240,000. Sosa is sitting with an above average stack of 450,000.

Big Stax 1000 (Day 2): Huge Pot
Level 16 - Blinds 2,500/5,000/500 (Players Remaining: 111)
We walked over to a sizable pot at Table 76, after Aristides Santana (Yonkers, NY) three bet Jason Heaney's open. The flop came out 10♠ 6♦ 7♦ and Heaney called Santana's 80,000 flop bet. After the J♣ on the turn, Santana check raised Heaney all-in for a total of 200,000 (Heaney's turn bet was about 125,000). Heaney would make the call and the hands would be tabled:
Santana would exhale as Jason missed all of his outs to win, and Aristides would chip up to over 750,000, making him one of the chip leaders in the room.
