We walked over to a sizable pot at Table 76, after Aristides Santana (Yonkers, NY) three bet Jason Heaney's open. The flop came out 10♠ 6♦ 7♦ and Heaney called Santana's 80,000 flop bet. After the J♣ on the turn, Santana check raised Heaney all-in for a total of 200,000 (Heaney's turn bet was about 125,000). Heaney would make the call and the hands would be tabled:
Santana: K K Heaney: 4♦ 5♦
River: 10
Santana would exhale as Jason missed all of his outs to win, and Aristides would chip up to over 750,000, making him one of the chip leaders in the room.
