Level 26 - Blinds 30,000/60,000/10,000 (Players Remaining: 8)
We have just seen what had to be the pot of the tournament. Vimy Ha opened the pot for 160,000, and was then three bet by Shankar Pillai to 420,000. When the action was back on Ha, he was four bet to 1,000,000. After thinking for a few moments Pillai would five bet to 1,800,000, which Vimy Ha then flatted.
The flop ran out 10 6 4, and Pillai was first to act. Shankar fired out a bet of 1,000,000 which was called by Vimy. After the 7 on the turn, Shankar would announce himself all-in (covering Ha), and it looked as if Vimy was about to snap. He then sat back in his chair, and Shankar actually let out an audible sigh of relief, and said aloud that he then knew his hand was good.
Vimy asked if Shankar would show the hand if he folded, and after going with a open ended answer, eventually told Vimy he would show. Ha would fold his hand and Shankar would win an 7,000,000 pot without a showdown.
Shankar Pillai - 8,400,000
Vimy Ha - 2,200,000
