Michael Wert (Coal Township, PA) was the eventual champion of the second ever Big Stax 300 in May of this year. Wert bested Ross Chapman heads-up to take home the trophy and $63,000 as well. He went on to follow that performance with a 97th place finish ($638) in this event during Big Stax III.
Wert has over 200,000, and with almost 200 blinds at the moment, sits in good position relevant to the field.
