Poker is full of trends, upswings, and the dreaded downswings as well. The breakout year is something that everyone is looking for, and there are two players in the field that would call 2013 their breakout: Joseph McKeehen and Justin Liberto.
Justin Liberto (Fallston, MD):
Justin already had eleven recorded cashes before heading to Las Vegas and his first WSOP event ever played. He would end up taking fourth in what would have to be the second most prestigious event behind the main, bring back over $400,000.
Joseph McKeehen (North Wales, PA):
McKeehen has been crushing tournaments this year, with the highlight so far being his win at the WSOPC (Caesers, AC) for just under $175,000.
