Stephanie Hubbard likely went further than she ever thought she would, as she sat at work this afternoon while the rest of the field had started play. She came into Day 3 with 742,000, but when she arrived at her seat, she had just under 300,000.
She played about as quality as you can (and had some big hands) to last as long as she did, and even put herself in position to make noise at the final table. She shoved just under 1,000,000 and was called by Vimy Ha, and Ha's AK would have the AQ of Hubbard trumped. There was no help as the board ran out jack high, sealing Stephanie's fate.
